White Pines Ampitheater
The Arnold Rotary Club has chosen the construction of an ampitheater in White Pines
Park as its Centennial Project.
The design of the ampitheater was done by Arnold Rotarian Ron Glass and Honorary
Rotarian Dave Hitchcock of Aspen
Street Architects, who created the conceputal drawing at right.
Construction is scheduled to begin as soon as the weather allows and is expected to
be completed before the Logging Jamboree, scheduled for Labor Day Weekend. The work
will be performed in part by Shires Excavating and Todeschini Construction. Materials
are being donated by Calaveras
Transit Mix, Calaveras Lumber and Ebbetts Pass Lumber.
